Everything was great, very good service, wonderful location near the train station and the main hub of town, restaurants/cafes, the Main Street, beach and railway station, and the centre of town. Newly decorated and compact units in the main part of the house...

The place was immaculately clean. Everything was great. - I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a minibar, central heating, and an electronic key card. - the staff were very friendly. - the pool area was very clean. - Appetising dishes were served at the outdoor restaurant. I had a delightful experience at Hotel Villa Elisa & Spa in Bordighera. the place was spotlessly clean, and I enjoyed staying in a standard room with garden views. the room had all the amenities I needed - a comfy bed, minibar, central heating, and an electronic key card. the staff was welcoming, and the pool area was well-maintained. I also loved the delicious meals served at the outdoor restaurant.

The grounds were beautiful and the room very clean. It was like staying at an elegant old hotel.
The drive down from the Autostrada was a bit difficult, but it's like this on the entire Italian Riviera. The room, though clean, was quite small.

Elegant surroundings with good service. Food to suit all palates was of good quality, tastey, well cooked and presented with a good menu selection. We found the staff to be very friendly and English was spoken by most. which we found to be most helpful. Our stay there was delightful.
Could not find anything we disliked.

The staff on reception were very helpful. The restaurant staff however did not seem to enjoy their jobs particularly the head waiter. The bar was unmanned and it was quite difficult to get service without the assistance of the reception staff.

Lovely pool area and beautiful gardens. Internal rooms were lovely traditional Italian style.
Personal observation: it seemed ironic that the huge displays of beautiful flowers within the hotel (on the 'Rivieria di fiori') turned out to be fabric not fresh flowers. What a disappointment! Likewise at breakfast there was no fresh fruit provided so each day we asked for (and were given) some but it was supplied like an illicit allowance. I think fresh fruit and fresh flowers would definitely improve the overall quality fo the provision at this hotel.
